Visit live project ↗Every idea deserves a beginning. Every iteration is an opportunity to pursue excellence — through design, engineering and thoughtful experimentation.
↓Great work begins with the intention to begin.
MK1 is a commitment to the first step, however ambitious the idea. Grounded in engineering principles and design psychology, the studio places human experience at the centre of its work.
Perfection may never be reached. Its pursuit, however, gives direction to progress. Each iteration is an opportunity to refine, learn and approach the work with greater care and excellence.
Mark I is the beginning, not the destination.

A practice built on curiosity, making, and the belief that every idea deserves a first iteration.
MK1 Studio is an independent creative practice where engineering principles meet design psychology, with the human experience at the heart of every decision.
Rooted in curiosity and driven by the pursuit of excellence, the studio explores ideas across physical and digital disciplines. Each project begins with a question, takes shape through experimentation and evolves through thoughtful iteration.
Perfection may be unattainable, but its pursuit gives direction to progress. No idea is too ambitious to begin, and no first iteration is expected to be the last. What matters is the willingness to start, the intention behind the work and the commitment to continually improve.
The name Mark I reflects this philosophy: the first iteration, not the final destination.
The iteration between conception and perfection.
